The history of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance started in 1998 with the founding of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing in Vinnytsia Institute of Trade and Economics. In 2008, due to the reorganization of the Institute and joining of the Department of Finance to the Faculty, it was renamed the Faculty of Accounting and Finance. Nowadays the Faculty of Accounting and Finance is headed by Andrii Nikitishin The staff of highly qualified professionals that meet the state standards work at the faculty. The students of the Faculty have the possibility to get classic theoretical knowledge combined with advanced information technologies, new computerized methods of controlling and making effective economic decisions, modern methods of economic processes and systems research, scientific approaches to solving economic problems.

The Faculty comprises three Departments:

• Department of Accounting and Taxation provides Bachelor’s and Master’s Programmes in the speciality “Accounting and Taxation” (specializations: “Accounting and Taxation”, “Financial Control and Audit”).
• Department of Finance provides Bachelor’s and Master’s Programmes in the speciality “Finance, Banking and Insurance” (specialization “ Finance, Banking and Insurance”).
• Department of Foreign Philology and Translation provides Bachelor’s and Master’s Programmes in the speciality “Germanic languages and literatures (including translation), first foreign language – English”.

The Faculty promotes and facilitates employment of its graduates. With this in view, the Faculty collaborates with the newspaper "All About Accounting", banking institutions, enterprises of the city, Tax Administration, the State Treasury, the Pension Fund and Revision and Control Administration. Academic activity of the Faculty is ensured by the Dean as well as professionals, managers and secretaries of the Dean’s office.
