Project: “Series of Training Sessions on Preventing Domestic Violence”

Project Goal: To conduct a series of training sessions on preventing domestic violence for educators and students of higher education specializing in “Law” and “Social Welfare.” The knowledge gained will enable students to raise awareness among young people. Upon graduation, students will be able to apply both their practical skills and theoretical knowledge in their professional activities.
The project is implemented as part of the collaboration between UNFPA and the NGO “Innovative Social Solutions,” with support from the Government of the United Kingdom.

Project Implemented in Partnership with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Representation in Ukraine

Project Goals: To support internally displaced persons (IDPs) who were forced to leave their homes due to active hostilities in their regions and relocated to the city of Vinnytsia and the Vinnytsia region. As part of the project, 14 integration meetings for internally displaced persons, titled “WORKING FOR PEACE,” were held from May to November 2022.
Project Outcomes:
- provided consultative support to 160 individuals offline and 60 individuals via phone;
- delivered psychological support to 40 IDP families;
- facilitated employment for approximately 50 IDPs.;
- offered consultative support to 5 relocated businesses, which created new jobs in Vinnytsia and Vinnytsia region over the last 5 months;
- during the integration meetings, participants attended a series of training sessions and workshops conducted by certified trainers and leading practitioners who are faculty members of VITE SUTE.

 

Grant Projects of the NGO «Laboratory of Social Changes»

VITE SUTE students — Darina Bantyuk (Deputy Chairperson of the NGO “Laboratory of Social Changes”), Anastasiia Biloshkurska, and Alina Murashko (members of the NGO “Laboratory of Social Changes”) — received two grants to organize events as part of the third wave of the youth social and cultural integration program “Good Evening, We Are from Ukraine” supported by the NGO “Youth Platform” and in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
On October 25 - 26, 2022, two workshops titled “First Step” were held for girls aged 17–25 (including internally displaced persons, or IDPs) with the participation of experts from the Department of Management and Administration VITE SUTE. Over two days, the workshops welcomed 30 participants. The attendees included students enrolled in educational programs such as “Management” (junior bachelor’s level), “Law,” “Public Administration,” “Finance, Banking, and Insurance,” and “International Economics” (bachelor’s level). During the workshops, students learned how to effectively plan their career paths and identify trustworthy employers.
On December 15, 2022, a “Leadership Training for Women with Gamification Elements” was held for girls aged 17–25 (including IDPs) led by Natalia Makhnachova, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor, Certified Trainer. The event was attended by 16 participants.
The attendees included students pursuing educational programs such as “Management” (junior bachelor’s and bachelor’s levels), “Law,” and “Public Administration” (master’s level). During the training, participants enhanced their leadership skills essential for career advancement in business and politics.
